How We Work

The Schneider Development approach is different. Not in the way we build your home – we use proven construction methods based on 20 years of experience -- but in the way we serve our customers.

When you put your trust in us to build the home of your dreams, we understand the responsibility and take it very seriously. Whether it’s a retirement home you’ve planned for years or a starter home for your growing family, we believe it’s a journey we’ll take together, and it should be a great relationship for all involved.

Our philosophy is that every customer becomes part of the Schneider family. Our relationships with our customers don’t end once you close on your new home and move in. From the very beginning, you’re part of the Schneider family. You deserve our commitment, time, attention, and very best effort.

We meet regularly with our customers, staff, subcontractors, and even suppliers to review the project and look for areas where we can improve our service and the project even more. This process is much more progressive than standard planning meetings. It involves open, honest two-way communication with everyone working toward a shared goal and the same high standards. We do everything we can to humanize the process and talk about the people who will live in the home. We’re not constructing buildings; we’re creating homes where our new neighbors will learn, love, grow, and enjoy life.

The entire building process is “high-touch” as we keep you informed every step of the way, so you can be excited about your new home. Our clients love the frequent communication and updates, and they enjoy feeling part of the building process rather than the frustration of waiting for the phone to ring.

After construction is complete, we hold multiple walk-throughs to ensure every last detail is addressed.

Our commitment doesn’t end there. We schedule another walk-through after you’ve had six weeks to live in your new home, open all the drawers and doors a few dozen times, and generally settle in.

We come back again almost a year after you move in to make sure everything in the home is performing as expected, identify and fix any issues that may have come up in the first 11 months.

The relationship doesn’t end there. All of our customers are invited to the yearly Schneider Development picnic, a tradition that brings together the entire Schneider Development family for a day of fun and relaxation.

Everyone on our team focuses on providing the homebuilding experience you deserve, and a home that embraces your lifestyle and your dreams. We do this by becoming a trusted partner, not simply a homebuilder.
